Our team has provided investment management services to defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans since 1982. We currently provide a range of services to a large number of participant-directed plans, trustee-directed (pooled) plans and non-qualified deferred compensation plans.
We provide retirement plan consulting services to trustees as well as investment management and customized education to participants in the plan. Our services enable trustees to meet their fiduciary obligations while providing a qualified plan designed to meet the long-term goals of the business and participants.
We perform detailed reviews and evaluations of existing plans, apply a rigorous due diligence process to the products and services of investment providers and, based on the plan trustees’ goals, provide alternatives for an investment provider. We then make recommendations for the selection of specific investment alternatives to be offered to the plan participants. We prepare a formal Investment Policy Statement (IPS) to outline the policies and procedures used for conducting initial and ongoing investment manager due diligence and for compliance with fiduciary responsibilities.

We provide customized investment management services to trustee-directed qualified plans. We begin with a detailed analysis of the current investment activities for the plan. Based on the demographics, expected cash flows and objectives of the plan, we develop asset allocation targets. Once the targets are affirmed, we design and implement an investment strategy. We apply a rigorous due diligence process to select and monitor the investments we recommend. One or more of our investment professionals meet regularly, usually quarterly, with trustees to review investment performance and evaluate the need for adjustments.
We can assist in the establishment and funding arrangements of non-qualified retirement plans such as deferred compensation plans. Our non-qualified plan consulting services give you flexible solutions to supplement existing qualified retirement plans. We will design a plan aligned with business objectives such as allowing increased tax-deferred contributions for key employees or executives. We will consider key features such as tax considerations for the company, credit exposure for the participants, participant eligibility, contributions, vesting, and funding options.
